Wayne County's economy continues to be strong relative to the rest of Ohio and the nation. Throughout 2016, we have been among the top performers among counties in the region for new jobs, capital investment and payroll.
Still, there is uncertainty about how labor shortages, the recent election and federal fiscal policies will affect this growth.
