Jorgenson Consulting identified and screened approximately sixty prospective candidates from which they presented a listing of eleven candidates that possess the skills and attributes identified and affirmed from the meetings with various WEDC Board and community leaders. From Jorgenson's extensive search, the WEDC Search Committee selected seven candidates to interview. External candidates unfamiliar with the community were given a tour. Now that this first phase is nearly completed, the Search Committee has ranked the candidates and has identified two outstanding individuals that we believe have the potential to be WEDC's next President. The WEDC Search Committee is planning on bringing these two candidate back for another round of interviews including sessions with key stakeholders of the WEDC. We are pleased with the progress to date and appreciate the continued support from the outstanding community we serve.
