Economist Mark Partridge provided his economic forecast for 2018 at the WEDC Briefings For Business (B4B) this morning. According to Partridge, Wayne County continues to outperform Ohio communities of a similar size and make-up. Social cohesion, strong leadership, and other intangibles are factors contributing to Wayne County’s success. What's the future hold? To kick off the program, WEDC interim president, Steve Slack formally introduced Tom Pukys as the new head of the organization. Pukys comes the Wayne County via the Alliance Area Development (AAD). During his remarks, Pukys said he's excited by the opportunity and looks forward to meeting and interacting with area businesses.
