Johnson Woods is a 206 acre virgin forest, containing some of Ohio's oldest trees.  

Wayne County is also home to top notch sporting facilities that include pools, indoor ice arena, physical fitness centers, indoor racquet club, country clubs, community recreation centers, horse stables and more.

Other recreational opportunities in the Northeast Ohio region include such diverse amenities as the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the NFL Football Hall of Fame and Cedar Point Amusement Park.
